Dr. Kimberly Faris
LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST IN BROOKLINE AND SUDBURY, MA
I am extremely enthusiastic and passionate about my work for I see how these techniques can change people’s lives. This therapy is conducted with a deep understanding of human behavior, interpersonal issues and other factors such as intuition and experience.
I received my education from William James College where I received my Doctorate with a specialty in Health Psychology.
The majority of my training was based at the Cambridge Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, in Cambridge, MA. It was there that I received training at the Behavioral Medicine and Couples and Family clinics. I completed my post-doctoral work at Two Brattle in Cambridge, MA. where I received extensive training in dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT); an approach combining Eastern and Western philosophies, such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This therapy is quite effective when working with borderline personality, bipolar and eating disorders.
I am currently a core staff member at Boston Behavioral Medicine and have a private practice in Sudbury, Ma.
